Our Story

For over 40 years, our family has been deeply rooted in the grocery industry, beginning with the founding of Compare Foods and evolving into the Aurora Grocery Group. Driven by a simple promise: to bring the freshest flavors to your table, what started as a small neighborhood bodega has grown into a network of supermarkets serving diverse communities across New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida.

We believe that food is what brings families together. That’s why whether you shop at Gala Foods for those hard-to-find international ingredients, or visit GalaFresh Supermarket for quality produce, you will always find quality, value, and a friendly face.

Thank you for letting our family serve yours.
